Men's Olympic Hockey 02/27/06

HORNBY (NUC) This year's Olympic hockey was obviously messed around with. I'm not sure how but, either the referee's were bribed, biased or teams paid off. I'm fine with Sweden winning the gold. They are a good team and all but what happened with Canada?

Canada was eliminated way too early. Other than Pat Quinn I put all the blame to the referees. Those quick whistles and stupid calls on team Canada cost Canada a lot of goals and three games. Which by the way they had not scored an allowed goal in.

I believe the referees were definitely paid off or hate team Canada because they seem to ONLY give quick whistles and stupid calls on Team Canada.

For my conclusion, All I want to say to the referees and the Olympic heads to straighten the game of hockey up and give more strict rules about bribery and enforce them, the game of international hockey as we know it, is no longer a sport but
a game of Monopoly.
